I write about K-12 education for a living at FutureEd, a think tank at Georgetown University . If you’re looking for well-researched, in-depth policy analysis on an array of K-12 issues, head over to www.future-ed.org.
But sometimes thinking about one thing makes you think about something else. Or something bigger. This is a place for me to share my thoughts on big-picture education ideas - and if you think about education a lot, you inevitably consider culture, society, parenting, and more. So there’ll be some of that too.
Who are you?
You’re a healthy skeptic but you also believe that better is possible. You want to talk about what could be and how to get there. We don’t have to wonder alone.
